Basketball Centre of Excellence

The basketball centre of excellence at Gaudium Sportopia has a first-class indoor basketball court that is well built and equipped enough to train the next Satnam Singh Bhamara, the first Indian drafted into the NBA. The sport itself is a training in hand-eye co-ordination, motor skills, agility and team spirit, an advantage even without the trophy or medals.

The national team, lovingly called as ‘Young Cagers’ has made it atleast once to the Olympics and may be your child would be on the team next time. To make that possibility a reality, we ensure unparalleled coaching and training at our centre. With the start of UBA Pro league, basketball might become the most popular game in India in future.

The Infrastructure

Court No.1: Indoor wooden floor court with 19 mm cushion pads below the floor for extra resilience .Basketball posts,rims,backboards and indoor facility lighting are all FIBA standards .

Court No.2: Outdoor basketball court with synthetic flooring.

Mentor / Coaches

Ms. Karnika Choubey: She has 10 years of experience with NIS Diploma in basketball. She worked and trained lots of national and state level players.

Mr. Abhijeet: He has 10 years of experience and he worked Kerala police team coach & National Player.
